We’re passionate about our cattle. First and foremost is their welfare. We also care deeply about their genetics and want to develop a herd of sustainably productive animals, which are able to withstand changes in seasonality and are not overly susceptible to disease.
We’re inspired by the tradition of rearing Boran cattle, tolerant of drought and good for beef, and want to combine this breed with others from across the world to develop a unique Rajwera herd.
In 2022 and 2023, both Nigel and Harry undertook AI training in the UK, and with assistance from the local vet, we have been identifying suitable dams and matching them with sires from across the world.
