We consider ourselves privileged to live and work in such an ecologically rich place. The farm is home to many species of mammals, birds and reptiles, all of whom are able to thrive due to the holistic approach we take. As the surrounding areas have become increasingly densely populated the farm has served as an environmental refuge, attracting many rare species.
“Being environmentally conscientious isn’t just what we do, its who we are.“
We strive to cultivate an environment in which crops, livestock and nature can thrive on the farm. We also consider how this translates across similar contexts, and ask ourselves how both people and nature can flourish through mutually beneficial resource use and protection. This is the philosophy that underpins the creation of Leldet’s range of drought resistant, nitrogen fixing and highly nutritious crops.
